Thank you for your interest in Nirala Series, a Series focused on Nepal, Himalayas, India, South Asian polity and Poetry, Fiction and Creative Non-Fiction from all over the world.

Our special interest in recent years has been in books on Buddhism, Tibet and Shamanism and trekking in the Himalayas.  Also we welcome submissions of creative writing, especially contemporary poetry, fiction and creative  non-fiction.  The list of prominent published Nirala authors includes Ronny Someck, Jayanta Mahapatra,  Cathal O’ Searcaigh, Evald Flisar, Yuyutsu Sharma, David Ray, Rabindranath Tagore, David Austell, Irene O’ Garden,  Laxmi Devcota, Tara Nath Sharma, David Axelrod and many more.

We are open to electronic submissions from December to March and from May to August every year. We accept poetry, fiction,  creative non-fiction and research oriented scholarly manuals.
